Leirungsdalen Valley, Jotunheimen National Park, Norway. Summer 2009
Thanks to everyone that continues to follow my portfolio here at deviantART. Much much appreciated! Also, thanks for your kind words of appreciation. I will read all your comments on all my work but sadly, I won't have the time to reply to each and every one of you. Anyways, have a great weekend!
FUCK! Sorry but that's the first thing that I said out loud when I opened this full view. What an absolute cracker mate. I'm guessing you blended exposures for this one since your not showing exif.. Mind sharing the procedure?
I saw this on NPN.net and I was wondering why you hadn't uploaded it on dA and here it is now Glad you uploaded it here as well. This is a stunning capture. I can't think of a better dynamic range and colors in the sky! This photo makes me miss Norway even more

Wow... all the pictures that you've recently added are beautiful, but this one just makes you want to be there. Totally generic comment, I know, but really, it's just so pretty.

Yes this is a two-shot blend. Two separate RAW exposures from the 5D. Blended using layer mask with a black-to-white gradient (in the mask). Then manual paintbrushing on the mask to reveal/hide details.
Thanks

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
