One Night in April
Spring harmony -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Location: Røsholmstranda, Tyrifjorden, Norway Date: April 03rd, 2008 Light Conditions: Overcast -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Camera: Canon EOS 5D Lens: Canon EF 17-40 f/4L USM Focal Length: 17 mm Flash: -- Flash Mode: -- Shutter Speed: 1/6 sec Aperture: 8.0 ISO: 100 Panorama: -- Tonemapping: -- Tripod: Manfrotto 055PROB Tripod Head: Manfrotto 488RC2 Filters: - Cokin Z-Pro Z121S ND Grad (ND8) The harmonies of spring echoed through this night. Not as colorful a sunset as I'd hoped for, but the light was great and the air was mild. The usual stuff pp-wise, but the image has been horizontally mirrored. The longer days definately has made it easier for me to get out and shoot. Now I can eat dinner AND photograph on the same evening  Thanks for looking and I hope you'll have a great weekend. Also, thanks to those who might comment or even fav/collect this photo. It is greatly appreciated! PS! The time for this shot is wrong. I almost never set out to photograph a landscape, nor do I think of my camera as a means of recording a mountain or an animal unless I absolutely need a 'record shot'. My first thought is always of light. -Galen Rowell
not that you shots are monotome or anything, i just find this one more colorful and warm than many others! It has very neutral colors but very many different thats what i meant.
I really love thsi photo.. its so calm and still. I really envy you for having these shores to shoot and that beautiful mountainline in the horizon.
