Title is preliminary.

160 second exposure of a pier I've been wanting to shoot for a long time. I just hadn't had the conditions I wanted yet. Until this morning.

Lovely subdued, even light from a low layer of clouds coupled with sea mist.

Curves. Toned using RGB curves. Sharpened for web. NeatImage used.

Thanks for looking!

oh, this is great...

I suck at giving titles 'cause I often go with the obvious, but you may try with Descent or Styx or some combination? I don't know if it has anything to do with the mood you tried to capture, but that's how I see it at the time :)

How are you liking your ND400 so far?

Hehe indeed. Thanks mate

I almost never set out to photograph a landscape, nor do I think of my camera as a means of recording a mountain or an animal unless I absolutely need a 'record shot'. My first thought is always of light. -Galen Rowell

Thank you :)
