Just got back from a three day trip into the Jotunheimen National Park here in Norway. Jotunheimen is Norways largest mountainous region (3500 square km). It contains the tallest peaks in Northern Europe with Galdhøiggen (2469m) being the tallest. A fantastic hiking area no doubt.
This summer's weather has been very varying. This particular shot was taken during the best night with fantastic afterglow and sporadic rain showers. The mountains in the distance are enclosed in just one of those rain showers.
Finally, it was great being out photographing again. Having the time for it was just awesome. I love vacations
Anyways, this is the first on in the series, with hopefully at least 4 more coming soon.

Thank you. You should consider coming in the autumn season. September/early october. The mountains are fantastic at that time of year.

Really dynamic image. The colors in the sky really make this photo. So does the warm light on the rocks and water.
Looking forward to seeing more!
